London 2012 is less than 500 days away

Applications for tickets for events at London 2012 went live online today (at midnight G.M.T.) Carl Lewis was at the Olympic Stadium to mark the event and described the Olympic Stadium as "wonderfully open and perfect for athletes to compete." The 80,000 seats have been installed in the stadium; with grass on the in-field area to be laid within the next four weeks. 
For those wishing to apply for tickets for London 2012; you have until midnight April 26th. Applying today or applying on April 26th (or some time in between) will give you equal chance of acquiring ticket(s) in this lottery.
