Maitland: 1st woman in mens pro ice hockey

 It was business as usual this morning for Eleanor Maitland and her boyfriend Scott Callaghan at training with Scottish ice hockey club Kilmarnock Storm.  One suspects that this evening might be a bit different though. Eleanor Maitland is the first woman to play in a professional men's ice hockey league.

When asked how does she take the hits (in what is a very physically agressive sport, with square offs a regular part of the action); Maitland says: "I don't get hit that often, but I can look after myself. The padding and helmet helps. Scott (her boyfriend) does look out for me though."  Changing times indeed.
