Setanta:  Seeking a trade
Having joined Melbourne club Carlton Blues back in late 2003; Setanta Ó hAilpín has asked chief executive Greg Swann for a trade.  Ó hAilpín is out of contract and has said he open to to offers during trade week.
Ó hAilpín became the regular full forward in the Carlton line-up after Brendan Fevola's departure, but his name was linked with a move to Western Bulldogs last year.  He was linked with Western Bullddogs last year but this appears certain to make a move.
Aisake Ó hAilpín: now modelling Down Under
Setanta's 6'6" brother Aisake, returned to Australia last year having spent four years with the Blues before spending 2009-'10 in his native Cork.  He spent some time with Melbourne VFL club Maribyrnong Park in 2011 and is now working as a male model Down Under.
Marty Clarke (with ball): heading back Down Under
Meanwhile, Down's Marty Clarke has completed his long expected return to AFL side Collingwood.  He joined them as a rookie on a two year contract back in 2007 but returned home to Down to pursue a teaching career in 2009.  The An Ríocht club man was a pivotal part of Down's run to the 2010 GAA All-Ireland Football Final and had been linked with a return Down Under for the majority of the 2011 season.
