Wonderful weekend of sport ahead with the Masters, Grand National and Heineken Cup Quarter Finals all down for decision:

Rory rips it up at Augusta National;  home of the U.S. Masters

Northern Ireland's Rory Mcilroy is currently ripping up the Augusta National course have posted a  seven under par 65 at the first round of the Masters and is currently joint leader.  There are many who argue that the Masters never really gets going until the back nine on Sunday.  However; the build-up to said back nine can usually be explained with many adjectives; though  "fascinating"  usually comes closest.


40 runners & riders will start the Aintree Grand National.  Most won't finish.
Else - where; the greatest horse race in the World; the Aintree Grand National will be down for decision on Saturday after - noon.  The 4mile 4furlong steeplechase gets underway tomorrow at 4:15p.m. 


TIE OF THE ROUND:  Brian O'Driscoll's Leinster v Leicester.  In BOD We Trust
The semi - finalists of the Heineken European Cup will also be decided this weekend.  Highlight of the Quarter - Final ties is must be the battle of the former winners; Leinster  v  Leicester Tigers at the AVIVA Stadium.  Kick-off at Lansdowne Road is 6p.m. on Saturday evening.  Stay tuned to this blog for pitchside updates from the AVIVA Stadium.
