Biggest ever Mixed Martial Arts Event in Ireland: Cork City FC join as an official partner:

THE biggest MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) event ever to be staged in Ireland will take place in Cork on Saturday May 28th in the Neptune Stadium.

Featuring some of the biggest and best UFC stars in the world, the event which is being staged by Cage Warriors will be broadcast live in Ireland (Setanta), UK (Setanta), Canada (fight channel), Sky satellite channel (Premier Sports), Africa (Setanta) and now for the first time live in the USA.

The 12 pro-fight event, which is being organised by Corkman Graham Boylan, will create history as the first non-main stream-sporting event in Ireland to have live television coverage on a worldwide stage.
The event will be screened live on http://www.cagewarriors.com/ and there will be delayed television coverage in Poland and the Far East.

The show which will be a 1500 sell-out is the second show staged in Cork following on from the very first show Cage Warriors 39, which was staged again in the Neptune Stadium last November.
