Massive win: three more points and Wolves are safe
Wolverhampton Wanderers took a massive step towards Premier League survival today as they overcame Black Country rivals West Brom at Molineux today.
Eventhough WBA are safe from relegation; there is nothing more the 'Baggies' would have liked than to plunge their near neighbours deeper into the relegation mire.
Wolves however raced into a 2-0 lead before half-time and when Stephen Fletcher added a third just after the break, Wolves looked home and dry and a cert to make a big dent in their goal difference.

However, instead of building from there, nerves set in and the home side were hanging on in the end.  West Brom pulled a deserved goal back from the penalty spot on 55 minutes and from then to the final whistle, last season's Championship runners-up monopolised possession.

When the referee's assistant signalled there was to be five minutes injury time at the end of the 90; everyone wearing old gold gasped for breath.  However, the back four (or eight as it was at the end of the game) held firm with Richard Stearman making several vital interventions.  The final whistle was greeted with a roar of Title winning proportions as Wolves propel themselves above the drop zone with just two games remaining.
Manchester United clinch Premier League Title
Speaking of Titles; Manchester United have effectively clinched a 19th Premier League Crown with victory today over Chelsea at Old Trafford.  The Red Devils have now overhauled Liverpool's record of 18 Titles.
