Parkhead Poppy ProtestWhile this will sound controversial (and a little delayed); I would like to state my total SUPPORT for the Poppy Day protest at Parkhead last weekend (November when Celtic fans held giant banners aloft stating:
"YOUR DEEDS WOULD SHAME ALL THE DEVILS IN HAIL
IRELAND, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN,
NO BLOOD STAINED POPPY ON OUR HOOPS"
- while I am no Celtic fan, this banner couldn't have emphasised my feelings more effectively. The British Army, for so many centuries, has been an absolute DISGRACE to humanity.
