Humphries: huge pressure; huge kick; huge drama
"We're tired of
being the third
best Irish province"
 - Ian Humphries
It wasn't a pretty game in the Ravenhill wind and rain, but nobody in Belfast will care about that tonight as the Ulstermen look set to reach the Quarter-Finals of the Heineken Cup for the first time since they lifted the Cup back in 1999 when, let's face it, the Heineken Cup was a totally different competition. For one thing, all the English clubs boycotted that (1998-'99) tournament.
No-one will argue that Ulster are the third best Irish provincial side, but they battled with all their heart tonight and now only need to beat Aironi to be assured of reaching the Quarter-Finals of Europe's premier club rugby competition.
Ulster celebrate at the final whistle
Out-half Ian Humphries was the hero as he landed a 50 metre penalty (from an awkward angle) two minutes from time and the forwards held out to see Ulster home for their most famous win since that 1999 Heinken Cup Final. Tonight's result was a shock as French giants Biarritz were 2010 Heineken Cup Finalists and are riding high in the French Top 14 - the drink'll flow in "Our Wee Country" tonight!
