...but the final whistle came too soon for Doyler & co.

Wolves come back from trailing 4-1 today but, sadly, the final whistle came too soon at the City of Manchester Stadium for the Molineux Men and Manchester City's billionaires clung on to go top of the Premier League Table. Due to other results, Wolves have slipped into the Bottom Three. Wolves went  0-1 ahead on 12 minutes through Milias, but a flurry of goals from Manchester City 15 minutes either side of half-time, appeared to put the Blues in control as the home side went 4-1 up. However, Ireland (and former Cork City) star KEVIN DOYLE earned and banged in a penalty on 68 minutes. Wolves players gave everything they had, as per usual and deservedly got right back in the game 5 minutes from time when Zubar netted and in the end, Manchester City were clinging on for dear life. Waterford's Ireland international Stephen Hunt, along with fellow Ireland internationalls Michael Foley and Stephen Ward also ran their socks off all day. In the last few minutes, Wolves nearly tied the game up and City 'keeper Joe Hart was beaten by a deflected shot in the dying moments, but the ball fizzed just wide with the goal gaping. Wolves have slipped into the relegation zone, but, with performances like this, the Molineux Men should be fine. Wolves never, EVER gave up today, as you would expect from any side managed by MICK McCARTHY and in the last minute ALL 22 players on the pitch were in the Manchester City penalty area for a Wolves corner. Unfortunately, Wolves couln't nick an equaliser and are now back in the Bottom Three tonight. 
However, WE ARE WOLVES and we will never give up.
